Our focus at Ditto is to bring you thoughtfully made, low intervention wine.

What does that mean? There are lots of terms these days - glou glou, natural, natty, -00-, sans soufre, organic, and more! While they’re all fun to say, the words can be confusing and misleading.

Transparency is at the forefront of what we do and we want the wines we choose to reflect that. We strive to focus on wines that are made humbly and sustainably, coming from thriving, healthy vineyards, and without the use of additions or subtractions where possible. There are many additives that can go into a bottle of wine that aren’t required on a label, not to mention the yucky sprays that end up in the vineyards. We look into this for you and we aim to choose wines without secrets! You are what you drink after all. 

So what’s the difference then? Wine that has not been manipulated has a different feeling, taste and often, smell! Without the use of prescribed yeast and adjuncts to doctor it up, the juice is able to evolve into wine naturally - and the resulting flavors are always unique. We find this exciting! For some, it may be new and different, perhaps a little confusing. We stand behind the values of low intervention wine and we hope you will too. They are living wines.
