about the wine we carry
Our focus at Ditto is to bring you thoughtfully made, low intervention wine.
What does that mean? There are lots of terms these days - glou glou, natural, natty, -00-, sans soufre, organic, and more! While they’re all fun to say, the words can be confusing and misleading.
Transparency is at the forefront of what we do and we want the wines we choose to reflect that. We strive to focus on wines that are made humbly and sustainably coming from thriving, healthy vineyards and without the use of additions or subtractions where possible. There are many additives that can go into a bottle of wine that aren’t required on a label, not to mention the yucky sprays that end up in the vineyards. We look into this for you and we aim to choose wines without secrets!
Why do we bring this up? We want you to know that wine that has not been manipulated has a different feeling, taste and often, smell! Without the use of prescribed yeast and adjuncts to doctor it up, the juice is able to evolve into wine naturally- and the resulting flavors are always unique. We find this exciting! But for some, it may be new and different and maybe a little scary. We stand behind the values of low intervention wine and we hope you will too. They are living wines. There is vitality in every sip.

Remember all that talk about thoughtful, sustainable wine above? This is our chance to share some of the coolest bottles with you. Behind every wine we carry are stories of agriculture, soil, geography, people and families, and, of course, the rich and varied production methods of intentionally made wine. For wine club, we’ll thoughtfully curate each bundle. Just choose one to match the vibe of wine you want in your life. Or feel free to choose simply based on bundle size.

how do I choose?
You’ll find descriptions of our 2-, 4-, and 6-bottle options on our wine club page, but here’s the TL;DR. Want a couple cool wines to share with your pals each month? Try the D’accordo 2 bottle bundle. Some of you will want to learn and taste more; for you we recommend the Echo or Encore bundles. Of course, if you want a little extra extra to match your vivacious wine needs, Looking Glass will be your bundle of choice: a personally curated 6 pack that will reflect the kind of wine lover you are.

Every Wine Club bundle will come with lively tasting notes and pairing suggestions.
No returns. Sometimes the picks you receive will be new or different flavors. We encourage you to explore with an open mind, and we’re always happy to talk about your thoughts.
